The North Peace Economic Development Commission, on behalf of the City of
Fort St. John, the District of Taylor, the District of Hudson's Hope and the
Peace River Regional District Electoral Areas 'B' & 'C', welcomes your
entrepreneurial spirit! Bisected by the mighty Peace River, the Peace River
Regional District is divided into the North and South Peace regions,
together comprising almost one-quarter of British Columbia's land area.

Taylor lies on a broad plateau 200 feet above the Peace River at km 56 on the Alaska Highway. The District of Taylor strives to ensure that the community provides a positive and affordable alternative for the development of residential housing, commercial ventures and industry in the North Peace region.
